…not in any particular order, there was rain, there was fog, there were early morning and late night dog walks, Mikela’s wedding, knitting, dog on the couch, taking photos out my windows, taking photos on dog walks, Maine Fiberarts, Thanksgiving with the family. And today there was Christmas.
Photo Galleries
This site started in 2016 as an alternative to writing a journal for one of Ginny’s photo classes in Port Townsend. Some entries are way too journalistic and others are just a sentence to describe a photo gallery. I occasionally have changed posting dates to be accurate to when the photos were shot, not when they were uploaded. There was a two year period when nothing was posted, but some of the most recent posts were added chronologically as a result of another photo class called “Fresh Start” so I’m trying to be starting fresh (although that will never really be…too much baggage).
Wider Than Wide
So I got a new wide angle lens, A room shot is kind of distorted so I wanted to make a panorama out of a few non-distorted, not so wide shots. So I used my new tripod and took 6 shots from one point in the photo that was near the left side.
Tippy in 14 years of photos…
There are image galleries linked to each of these squares. All the images in the galleries are linked to large-sized slide shows if you have a lot of time on your hands.
First Snow in Six Years
Finally the snow came to Port Townsend. They just leave it here, they just figure it will melt pretty soon and so what if the roads are impassable. People should stay home. It’s a good thing it’s Saturday.
Visit to Salem
We went over the Taco Bridge and back. Something new in this town where Boo lives.
Walking in the Hastings Building
In Ginny’s photo class we got to walk around the Hastings Building in downtown Port Townsend. These are the photos I played around with.
Making a Hat
This was when I spun the yarn well enough to make a hat. Even though the hat was too big, it was fun and I loved it.
Driving to Maine in 2017
Wide open spaces and views. These are just a few of the many photos I took that year. I drove out in 2015 and 2017. I think that means I need to go again in 2019.
